Do you have a student interested in entrepreneurship, creativity, leadership, or learning how to build a business idea?

The City of Houston Office of Business Opportunity is proud to support the Future Founders Program, a youth entrepreneurship initiative designed to help students build confidence, explore innovation, and learn the basics of business development in a fun and engaging environment.

Through guided activities, students will learn about creativity, responsibility, community engagement, leadership, and what it takes to turn an idea into something real.

Program Details

  • Dates: July 27–31
  • Location: Alief Public Library
  • Eligible Students: Ages 10–13
  • Residency: Must reside in District F
  • Space is limited.

Student Requirements

Participants must:

  • Be between 10 and 13 years old
  • Reside in District F and provide proof of residency
  • Be able to attend all five program days, July 27–31
  • Have parent or guardian consent
  • Agree to anti-bullying compliance
  • Have transportation to and from Alief Public Library each day
  • Be in good academic standing
