Applications for PeopleFund’s BIPOC Small Business Accelerator are closing on April 2nd! PeopleFund’s Small Business Accelerator is a free statewide program designed to help Texas entrepreneurs strengthen and grow their businesses. The program focuses on expanding access to small business loans and business development education. The Accelerator is open to everyone and works to expand capital access for businesses that may lack access to traditional banking systems.

Program Highlights:

• Virtual training sessions focused on business planning, financial readiness, marketing, etc.
• Free one-on-one business coaching and ongoing mentorship
• Access to LivePlan, a business plan development software, and the Verizon Digital Ready platform
• Expedited loan packaging and application support
• Networking and community-building within a supportive cohort
• Low-interest small business loans as low as $3,000
• Eligibility for a $3,000–$5,000 grant upon program completion and loan closing
