Every day, extraordinary women across the Houston area make a powerful impact through their leadership, compassion, and service. Now, it’s time to recognize their incredible contributions.

Nominate a Remarkable Women

Across Nexstar Media Group’s 116 U.S. television markets, 125 Remarkable Women will be honored for their accomplishments and dedication to others – and one of those inspiring honorees will be chosen right here from Houston!

Each local winner will be celebrated during Women’s History Month in March 2026 in Nashville, TN, where she’ll experience:

  • VIP treatment at the National Celebration Event, including round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation
  • Recognition in national and local media, including digital and social features
  • Potential inclusion in a national television program airing on The CW Network, NewsNation, and Nexstar stations across the U.S.

To further amplify their missions, Nexstar Media Group will make generous donations to the nonprofits these women champion:

  • $1,000 cash donation for each of the 125 nominees selected 501(c)(3) organization
  • $5,000 cash donation for each of five (5) Regional Finalists selected 501(c)(3) organizations, plus an estimated $125,000 media package to promote that nonprofit nationally
  • $25,000 cash donation for the National Remarkable Woman of the Year’s selected 501(c)(3) organization, plus a $250,000 national media package to elevate their cause across the U.S.

All 125 nominees will walk the red-carpet in Nashville, where one will be named Nexstar’s National Remarkable Woman of the Year.
