STAFFORD Texas — The City of Stafford, in partnership with the Asia Society Texas Center and the Asian Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce an Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) celebration in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States. This vibrant event will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday May 8, at the Stafford Centre.

Under the theme, “Together We Shine: A Multicultural Celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary,” this event will showcase the rich cultural tapestry of Asian American communities. Through dynamic music, dance and performances, we will honor the contributions of Asian Americans in shaping this nation’s history.

The celebration will feature artists from more than 10 countries, showcasing extraordinary talent from both local and international performers. As part of the festivities, attendees will have the chance to win one of four round-trip flight tickets from Houston to Tokyo, Taipei, Manila, or Singapore. To participate in the raffle, guests must be 21 or older, present during the drawing, and hold a valid ticket.

“This assembly of top-tier entertainment is a once-in-a-generation spectacle,” said Stafford City Council Member and AAPI Committee Chair Alice Chen. “We aim to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, emphasizing the diversity and unity that define us.”

Admission is free, but advance ticket reservations are required. Reservations open to the public on April 13 via the Stafford Centre website. Seating is limited, so early booking is strongly recommended.
