Many parents and students recognize that leadership plays a vital role in youth development. Leadership is also one of the key qualities considered by universities, especially top-tier institutions, during the admissions process. However, many families are unsure how to help students effectively develop strong leadership skills.
To address this need, the University of Houston Asian American Studies Center, in collaboration with the youth nonprofit, Youth Voice for Small Business, is launching the First National Youth Leadership Certificate Program.
