An emerging leader from The U.S. Small Business Administration Houston Chapter and founder of an award-winning holiday attraction from the ABC network’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight”, I consider myself extremely fortunate to spend my days chasing my dream through entrepreneurial endeavors.
I started my business, Magical Winter Lights, seven years ago to weave this annual holiday tourist attraction into the cultural fabric of the greater Houston community. The festival has welcomed close to one million visitors combined in the past six years, brought over 200 seasonal jobs annually to the area, and boosted the local economy in the hospitality and retail sectors. It has also become one of the leading holiday attractions recognized by the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau.
I’m enthusiastic about using technology to resolve operational challenges, leveraging data to access consumer insights for measurable marketing campaigns, and finding an artful approach to business negotiations and partnerships.
