Fay Linn was formally the senior product manager for Shell Oil/Pennzoil Lubricants. After earning her PhD in Chemical Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, she worked at Kendall Lubricants and later joined Shell Oil. Fay Linn’s 30+ years of industrial experience includes an international assignment as Lubricant Product Manager in London, UK. In her role at Shell Oil, she has led product development and supported quality assurance in numerous commercial products for Sales/Marketing and blending plant operations as well as managing the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) team at Shell. Professionally, Fay Linn has actively participated in industrial organizations and authored technical papers and presentations including co-authoring a book chapter on industrial lubricant additive trends.

Inside and outside of Shell, Fay Linn has chaired Shell Employee network groups as well as community non-profit organizations including chairing the Board of Directors for the Center for Healing of Racism, chair of the Penn State IPAC(Industry and Professional Advisory Council) and a board member for the Asian Chamber of Commerce and OCA (Asian Pacific American Advocates) and a member of CAPAW(Center for Asian Pacific American Women). She has organized several events to enhance culture-awareness.

She enjoys family activities, mentoring young people, traveling, sports (skiing, swimming, and tennis), exploring different ethnic foods, and learning about business development and finance. She actively participates in many charity and service organizations.
