Business Resiliency Series: Cybersecurity and the Resilient Organization
FREE WEBINAR:
ACC Business Resiliency Series: Cybersecurity and the resilient organization
Aside from cyber-crime, business leaders have plenty to worry about, from transforming how they serve customers during a pandemic to evaluating the impact that new technologies will have on their industry and the competitive landscape. Verizon’s research shows that because they face so many daily challenges, some business leaders de-prioritize cybersecurity and simply hope for the best. But cybersecurity doesn’t have to be an overwhelmingly complex, time-consuming or expensive task: implementing some basic “cyber-hygiene” into your organization can reduce the risk of a cyberattack. Verizon Security Evangelist David Grady shares some tips on how to get started.
Presenter:
David Grady, Chief Security Evangelist, Verizon Business Group
When he’s not speaking about security at industry events or writing security blogs, David Grady helps Verizon’s customers refine and achieve their cybersecurity objectives. David joined Verizon’s cybersecurity product and marketing team in 2015 from State Street Corporation, where, as a Vice President, he helped design and implement a continuous cybersecurity monitoring program. David was also a Senior Vice President for Security & Risk at The Royal Bank of Scotland, leading data leakage prevention efforts. Before becoming a Certified Information Security Manager (ISACA CISM) in 2010, David wrote for The Boston Globe and was later deputy press secretary to two Boston mayors. His TED Talk on time-management has been viewed close to 3 million times and translated into 37 languages.
