2023 ACC Business Conference and Lender Matchmaking

Each year, the Asian Chamber of Commerce hosts a business conference to educate and provide opportunities of trade through educational workshops. We are excited to have SBA Director Tim Jeffcoat provide the opening remarks along with various speakers to discuss various topics ranging the supply chain, marketing, accounting, labor and technology. We will also have a supplier diversity panel with managers from Shell, CenterPoint Energy, JPMorgan Chase and Port Houston. We will close the conference with having a topic of Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT given by Conversational Interaction Designer at Apple, Mike Chop. Regional businesses are encourage to attend.

*Pitch Your Business’ Financial Needs to SBA-Approved Lenders
The Lenders Matchmaking will be administered by the SBA where you will fill a form onsite to be match with the 15+ Lenders. These are lending institutions that lend in the Houston District including traditional lenders, credit unions, microlenders, and certified minority development institutions will be on hand to meet with existing and start-up business owners to discuss funding for small businesses.

*NOTE: Registration for the Lender Matchmaking (Aug 18) begins at 11:30am, appointments are made 1st come 1st serve basis. One-on-one sessions begin at 12:30pm and conclude at 3:00pm. *Boxed lunch will be provided for those who attend BOTH business conference and lenders matchmaking.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

The event will include:
  • Opportunity for small businesses and entrepreneurs to pitch financing needs to multiple lenders in scheduled, one-on-one 15 minute sessions! Appointments are scheduled 1st come, 1st served. 
  • Meet SBA Houston District Office representatives and engage with SBA's Resource Partner network who provide free one-on-one business advising.
Asian Chamber of Chamber Houston is a 33 year-old non-profit organization with past board members who have gone on to serve as Houston City Council Members, Corporation Executives and Successful Business Entrepreneurs.
